Christmas dates

On the last day of school Thursday 15th December, Porritt Care will only be open in the morning. School finishes at 1pm and we will not be running Porritt Care in the afternoon.

Holiday Programme

We have just had a fantastic two weeks filled with lots of fun and activities. The kids have been to the movies, hill sliding and making pizzas. They have gone to the park to do some kite flying and tree climbing. It has been very busy and happy.

Our Tamariki have been very enthusiastic about the Art Expo and now all of their efforts have paid off. Come down to school this week and check out the fantastic display with all of their hard work on show in the hall.

Our tamarikis have been very busy colouring in flags for the World Cup Rugby. They have also done the rugby jerseys, they look great.

Kia Ora Everyone,
Well here we are 2 weeks into Term 3 already. We have an awesome term planned for the before and after school care programme. Our room is slowly being transformed into Rugby World Cup mania so watch this space for some photos. We are also looking at doing some really cool art work with the kids. We look forward to your comments and any feed back you may have.

Treasure Hunt

2nd and 3rd place was also won by girls. Girl Power!!!!!


Rachael and Danni came 1st place in the Treasure Hunt, well done girls.

Wow 2 weeks of action packed fun, what a ride it was! The second week was filled with things like going to the movies to see Kung Fu Panda 2, making pumpkin and kumara soup and origami. The kids had fun doing a treasure hunt around the school and then we finished on a high note and went to the Onekawa Pools. What an awesome time we all had, check out the photos of the kids having a blast.

Pancakes, Yum!

Wednesday was one of the best days.We had pancakes for breakfast. Each of us got two pancakes each. You could have maple syrup or sugar and lemon. We also had yummy tasty toast. Peanut butter, jam, Vegemite and sometimes honey. To make it better we had to come to school with our pajamas on!

Then we had some very tired kids!!!!

Wow one week of the holidays has been and gone already. We all had a fantastic time with up to 30 kids attending the programme. They were very busy with going to the movies, making cupcakes, plays and a fun filled day at rock climbing. This week is also filled with fun activities to keep the little munchkins busy, busy, busy. Just some of the things we have planned are the movies, making soup, making fruit kebabs and an exciting day at the indoor pools.
Check out the fun we had last Friday at Kiwi Adventure. We had some very brave kids!!!
